You Never Know

YOU NEVER KNOW
by
Eric Kobb Miller

Two bottles of wine before me stood,
each of which I assumed would be good.
Into one glass, I poured the first,
only to discover it was among the worst.
Into another glass I poured number two,
and found that it too was untrue.
So, I mixed them together and gave it a go,
and lo and behold, it made a darned good show,
proving that you never know.
